David H. Wang, Ph.D.
ACM Research, Inc. | CEO and President
David Wang is ACM’s founder and has served as Chief Executive Officer and President and also as a company director since January 1998. Dr. Wang received a Ph.D. and Master of Engineering in Precision Engineering from Osaka University and a Bachelor of Science in Precision Instruments from Tsinghua University. He is the inventor of stress-free Cu polishing technology, and he holds more than 100 patents in semiconductor equipment and process technology. Dr. Wang brings extensive experience in semiconductor equipment, manufacturing processes and markets from his many years of leadership in the industry.
Mark McKechnie
ACM Research, Inc. | CFO and Treasurer
Mark McKechnie has served as ACM’s CFO and Treasurer since July 2018. McKechnie has more than 25 years of experience in product management, public equity markets, and corporate finance at Motorola, Intel, Evercore Partners, and other Wall Street and technology companies. Mr. McKechnie holds a BSEE from Purdue University and an MBA from The Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern.
Jim Straus
ACM Research, Inc. | VP of Sales, North America
Jim Straus has served as ACM’s Vice President of Sales for North America since April 2020. Mr. Straus has 30 years of experience in semiconductor equipment sales, business development, account management, and operations supporting leading global semiconductor manufacturers. Mr. Straus holds a BS from the United States Military Academy, West Point, and an MBA from Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University.

Jian Wang
ACM Research (Shanghai), Inc. | VP of Research and Development
Jian Wang has served as Vice President of Research and Development of the company’s subsidiary, ACM Research (Shanghai), Inc. since January 2015. Prior to this role, Mr. Wang had been Director of Research and Development of ACM Research (Shanghai), focusing on SFP and ECP technologies. Mr. Wang received a Master of Science in Computer Science from Northwestern Polytechnic University, a Master of Science in Marine Engineering from Kobe University, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Southeast University.

Lisa Feng has served as ACM’s Chief Accounting Officer since January 2018. Most recently, Lisa Feng was Corporate Controller of Amlogic, Inc., a fabless semiconductor manufacturing company. Ms. Feng holds a bachelor’s degree from Southern Connecticut State University and a master’s degree from Golden Gate University.

Sotheara Cheav has served as Vice President of Manufacturing of the company’s subsidiary, ACM Research (Shanghai), Inc. since January 2015. Prior to this role, Mr. Cheav served as Director of Manufacturing of ACM Research (Shanghai). Mr. Cheav received a Bachelor of Science in Science and Technology from the University of Cambodia and an Associate of Science in Electronics from Bay Valley Technical Institute.
Fuping Chen

Fuping Chen has served as Vice President of Sales-China of the company’s subsidiary, ACM Research (Shanghai), Inc. Prior to this role, Fuping Chen has more than 10 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, joining ACM in Jan 2010 focused on the development of new wet processes and equipment, also customer application development. From 2006 to 2010, Fuping Chen served as Assist Wet Process Manager of SK Hynix. From 2010 to 2017, Fuping Chen served as Senior Technical Director of ACM. Mr. Chen received a BS degree from the Nanjing University of Technology of Material Science and Engineering; A MS degree from the Zhejiang University of Material Science and Engineering.

YY Kim

YY Kim has served as Chief Executive Officer of ACM Research Korea since December 2017. Mr. Kim has more than 25 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. Mr. Kim joined ACM Research in January 2008 as Business Partner for Single Cleaning Tool sales in Korea and China. Mr. Kim established ACM Research Korea, and was promoted to CEO of ACM Research Korea in 2017. In 2018, Mr. Kim opened the ACM Research Korea R&D Center to lead the development of a range of additional cleaning tools, and furnace, track, and thin film equipment. In 2019, Mr. Kim established the ACM Research Korea manufacturing factory. Prior to ACM, Mr. Kim served as CEO of AIXTRON Korea, VP of Steag Korea, Asia Pacific Service Director of Material Research Korea, and Thin Film Process Assistant Manager of Hyundai Electronics Industries. Mr. Kim holds a BS Degree from Dongguk Division of Electronics and Electrical Engineering.
