David H. Wang, Ph.D.
CEO and President
David Wang is ACM’s founder and has served as Chief Executive Officer and President and also as a company director since January 1998. Dr. Wang received a Ph.D. and Master of Engineering in Precision Engineering from Osaka University and a Bachelor of Science in Precision Instruments from Tsinghua University. He is the inventor of stress-free Cu polishing technology, and he holds more than 100 patents in semiconductor equipment and process technology. Dr. Wang brings extensive experience in semiconductor equipment, manufacturing processes and markets from his many years of leadership in the industry.
Chief Financial Officer
Min Xu has served as ACM’s Chief Financial Officer since November 2016. Most recently, Mr. Xu served as the Chief Financial Officer of UTStarcom Holding Corp., a global telecom infrastructure provider. Prior to that, Mr. Xu was a senior equity research analyst at Roth Capital Partners, LLC. Previously, Mr. Xu served as an equity research analyst with Wedbush Securities, Jeffries & Co, Piper Jaffray Companies, and Stanford Group. Earlier in his career, Mr. Xu served as a technical marketing engineer as well as a senior software engineer with Cisco Systems, Inc. Mr. Xu received a Master of Business Administration from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, a Master of Science in Physics from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Peking University.
Chiang Yang, Ph.D.
Chief Marketing Officer
Chiang Yang has served as Chief Marketing Officer at ACM since January 2016. Prior to this role he was the company’s Senior Strategic Advisor. Dr. Yang has had 32 years of experience in semiconductor equipment, process, and management. He previously held the position of General Manager of Intel Mask Operations and VP of the Technology & Manufacturing Group at Intel Corporation. Dr. Yang received his Ph.D. in Materials Science from MIT, a Master of Science in Physics from Northwestern University, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the National Taiwan University.
Fufa Chen. Ph.D.
Vice President, Sales
Fufa Chen has served as the Vice President of Sales of the company’s subsidiary, ACM Research (Shanghai), Inc. since November 2007. Dr. Chen received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the State University of New York, Stony Brook.
Vice President, Research and Development
Jian Wang has served as Vice President of Research and Development of the company’s subsidiary, ACM Research (Shanghai), Inc. since January 2015. Prior to this role, Mr. Wang had been Director of Research and Development of ACM Research (Shanghai), focusing on SFP and ECP technologies. Mr. Wang received a Master of Science in Computer Science from Northwestern Polytechnic University, a Master of Science in Marine Engineering from Kobe University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Southeast University.
Vice President, Manufacturing
Sotheara Cheav has served as Vice President of Manufacturing of the company’s subsidiary, ACM Research (Shanghai), Inc. since January 2015. Prior to this role, Mr. Cheav served as Director of Manufacturing of ACM Research (Shanghai). Mr. Cheav received a Bachelor of Science in Science and Technology from the University of Cambodia and an Associate of Science in Electronics from Bay Valley Technical Institute.
